AEBC Internet Corp. (AEBC) is a fast-growing internet, phone and licensed TV service provider in Canada.

AEBC is looking for good integrity, highly motivated, experienced and forward-thinking CockroachDB, MongoDB and HTML5 programmers to research, design and develop ecommerce systems running on Kubernetes clusters.

The successful candidate will require to program the databases, construct microservices to run in containers, create JSON API for third-party systems interface, construct secure HTML5 compliant web pages to automatically detect and size to fit cellular phone, pad and large computer screens across the major operating systems and browsers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • – Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality code and system functionality
  • – Interface with Vendor and banking systems
  • – Provide secure JSON API for third party system interface
  • – Take ownership of projects, tasks and complete them timely
  • – Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development teams
  • – Ensure development best practices are followed across the team
  • – improve and maintain our online web site, eCommerce store and service inquiries etc.
  • – Work with Management and Accountants to architect and deliver a highly functional and efficient system for staff, resellers and customers to use

The skills required to be successful in this position are:

  • – 3+ years of experience in HTML5 and working with CockroachDB, MongoDB, Containers
  • – 3+ years of experience designing and implementing web-based Angular applications and excellent understanding of HTML5 JavaScript framework
  • – Experience in developing and supporting JS, Vue.js, node.js, SaaS, web applications
  • – Proficiency with MS SQL and MySQL, optimizing queries and working with large datasets
  • – Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • – Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team or self environment
  • – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • – Strong written and verbal English skills and the ability to document SDKs and libraries and articulate technical information efficiently

Nice to haves:

  • – In dept knowledge in Microsoft Windows Servers, Linux/Debian/BSD servers
  • – Experience with serverless architecture and microservices a plus
  • – none interrupted, continuous deployment process and infrastructure management
  • – Working experience of Github and deploying using Docker

AEBC is looking for an experienced Accounts Coordinator (AC) to work in a cross-departmental and cross company role for CipherTV and AEBC businesses. CipherTV Corporation provides wholesale service to reseller companies, whereas AEBC Internet Corporation provides retail services direct to end customers.  The AC is one of the key points of contact for CipherTV/AEBC staff and customers. This person coordinates tasks between departments to ensure CipherTV/AEBC services are consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations and requirements.  The AC needs to have excellent written and oral English communication skills, be able to quickly problem solve, multi-task and work in a busy dynamic environment.  CipherTV/AEBC are fast growing businesses, and requires friendly professionals to help customers through their entire life cycle, from marketing to provisioning to accounting. 

Responsibilities:

  • Become the first contact point for CipherTV/AEBC and be fluent in end-to-end CipherTV/AEBC products and services
  • Handle CipherTV/AEBC front-desk and customer phone calls during office hours
  • Answer and follow-up internally/externally on customer inquiries, assist the service sign-up process
  • Coordinate internally on customer orders for shipping and/or provisioning
  • Process sales orders, invoice billings, prepare and generate reports
  • Monitor and support hardware inventory control
  • Work with Technical sales and support staff and Accounting to monitor and follow up end-customer AR collections
  • Track key metrics, create management reports and participate in management meetings
  • Coordinate with Technical Sales and Support to resolve customer issues in a timely manner
  • Work with Accounting staff to review selected vendor accounts, identify dispute items and dispute with vendors
  • Perform other service administration and accounting duties as needed

Technical Sales and Support

Technical Sales and Support (TSS) is the voice and image of our organization. TSS require to be friendly and professional with customers, and is the first point of customer contact. Customers contacts us in the form of phone/video call, email, SMS or real time online chat. TSS is required to fully understand the AEBC products and services to provide customer correct information and recommendations. TSS required technical knowledge to support and guide customer on resolving technical issues.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide customer with sales information and recommend customer the correct products and services
  • Interact with customers to provide technical support in response to issues, concerns, and requests regarding internet, phone and TV services;
  • Provides answers to clients by identifying problems; researching answers; guiding client through corrective steps.
  • Gather customer’s information and determine the issue by evaluating and analyzing the symptoms;
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues involving internet connectivity (xDSL/Cable/Fiber Internet), email clients, IPTV, VOIP and more;
  • Improves client references by writing and maintaining documentation.
  • Improves system performance by identifying problem
  • Research required information using available resources;
  • Identify and escalate priority issues per Client specifications;
