Inside Sales Representative

AEBC is a fast growing, independent internet and TV service provider offering residents across BC and Alberta an alternative to the big guys. AEBC is a licensed TV broadcaster and works with multiple cities on developing high speed fiber-to-the-home internet service.

We are looking for an experienced phone sales person to work at our central downtown office handling inbound phone and internet inquiries and making outbound calls to follow-up on leads and after-sale referrals. You would be working full-time in a small team environment with flexible morning or afternoon shifts.

Our Inside Sales Representative would help customers select the best internet and TV packages to suit their needs, overseeing the provisioning process, and following up with the customer in the future. AEBC is looking for someone with the maturity to work unsupervised from time to time and with a gracious phone etiquette that makes customers feel welcomed and appreciated.

* Base salary plus commissions

Duties include:

• Respond to daily incoming leads, recommend optimal service solutions and close sales opportunities
• Use CRM system to manage your work and report on personal sales funnels
• Work with existing customers to upsell and generate referrals
• Provide notes and input to service provisioning teams
• Being current and up-to-date on the latest company services, pricing, technology and tools

Remuneration:

Competitive base salary plus commissions on every sale, employee benefits after probation.

Requirements:

• Candidate must have excellent verbal and written English
• Minimum of 5 years previous sales experience, preferably in an account management or outbound role
• Prefer experience in the cellular or telecom industry; including internet, phone and TV. Training available
• Must be comfortable with technology including using CRM’s, calendars, word, excel
• Must have an excellent phone demeanor
• Secondary language skills an asset
• Looking for a people person who has strong ethics and is well-organized
